Contests give trainers another way to build value on their Pokémon outside of battling. Enter Cool, Beauty, Cute, Smart, and Tough Contests, earn BP, collect ribbons, and make your favorite Pokémon stand out in trades, GTS, showcases, and Stat Screens.

Contest areas are available in three regions:

Contest types

Each Pokémon can compete in five Contest categories. Raising the matching condition helps your Pokémon score better.

Cool Beauty Cute Smart Tough

Rewards

Ribbons stay attached to the Pokémon that earned them.
BP can be earned by winning Contests, with balanced repeat rewards.
Tickets help enter higher-rank Contests.
Rare ribbons can make a Pokémon more valuable to collectors.

Contest items

Pokéblocks and Poffins raise Contest condition stats.
Scarves are held items that boost certain Contest styles.
Contest Tickets, Master Contest Tickets, and Grand Contest Tickets are used for higher ranks.
